Overview
Introduce a developer the way a code host does, with this profile card for Vue with Ark UI. A compact header holds the title and one sentence, and the hairline frame under it opens on the person: initials, name, handle, place, a line about the work, followers and following, and a Toggle that follows them and moves the count by one. A line names the people you follow who also follow them, worked out from a typed list. Four pinned repositories sit in ruled rows with a language mark, a short description and stars in compact notation, each ending in a Star toggle that adds one while it is pressed. The languages close the card as outline Badges with their repository counts, and one polite status line says what changed. It's built from Toggle, Badge, Avatar and Guides, with a CSS entrance only. For a code host, a team directory or any profile where people follow and star.
FAQ
How do I fill it with my own developer and repositories?
Edit the constants at the top. PERSON holds the name, handle, place, line and the follower counts, MUTUALS lists the people you follow who follow them, REPOS lists the pinned repositories (name, one line, language, stars) and LANGUAGES the chips. The mutual line, the compact star counts and the follower total are worked out from these, so nothing is typed twice.
What do Follow and Star do?
They change the page and nothing else. Following adds one to the follower count and the status line says it happened in this demo; a star adds one to that repository's count while the toggle is pressed. To make them real, call your own API in the two handlers and keep the pressed state from the answer, rolling it back if the request fails.
How is the mutual followers line made?
It takes the first two names from the typed list and counts the rest, so four people read as the first two and 2 others you follow. In a real app the list is the intersection of your following and their followers, which you fetch together with the profile.
Why 4.8k and not 4,812?
Stars use a small compact helper so the text is the same on the server and in the browser; the follower total keeps every digit so you can see the one that Follow adds. Swap the helper for your own formatter if you want a locale-aware version.
Is the card accessible?
Both toggles are named for what they do, such as Star buildtrace, and announce whether they are pressed. The repositories are a list, the status line is a polite live region present from the start, and names and counts are isolated so they keep their order in a right-to-left layout.
