Conversation Summary Chat Block for Svelte
A long team thread with a recap a person wrote in a pane at its end: decisions that jump to and ring the message they came from, open questions you mark answered, and statements you can edit in place.

Overview
Catch up on a long thread, with this conversation summary chat for Svelte with Ark UI. A hairline frame with a plus mark on each corner holds a window of fixed height for Recapworth, a team workspace: a launch channel of flat Message rows, with a Catch up pane at its end that is open on load. The pane holds a recap that a person wrote: Decisions, each with a Go to message button that scrolls the log to the message it came from and rings it for a moment, and Open questions, each with a Toggle to mark it answered and a count ("2 of 3 open"). Every statement is an Editable you can change in place, and an edited one says "Edited by you". On a phone a two-view Toggle Group switches between Chat and Recap. The composer's Shine Button is the only colored control, the frame is ruled by Guides, and everything moves with CSS only. It's the starting point for a thread recap, a handover note or a shared decision log.
FAQ
What stays in the page, and how do I make it real?
Everything. The thread, the recap, the answered state and any edits are typed or held in this file, and nothing is saved or sent; the status line says so after an edit. To make it real, load the recap from your API, post edits and answers from commitDecision, commitQuestion and answer, and send the composer's text where the code says so.
Is the recap generated?
No. It is typed data, signed "Recap by Basil Ormerod", the way a teammate would write it after a long thread. Nothing in the block summarizes messages, so there are no key topics or sentiment, and the foot line says a person wrote it.
How does Go to message work?
It scrolls the log's own region to the source message, never the page, rings the message with a solid outline for under two seconds and moves focus to it. On a phone it switches to the Chat view first. The ring is not animated, so reduced motion changes nothing.
How do edits work?
Press a statement or its pencil to edit it, Enter or the check to commit and Escape or the cross to cancel. A changed statement shows "Edited by you"; the line reserves its space, so nothing shifts. Committing an empty value keeps the old words.
