Overview

Let a couple find out whether their day is taken before they write, with this wedding planner profile for React with Base UI. Inside a hairline frame with a plus mark on each corner, the first band names the planner. Two months of 2027 follow side by side (one on a phone), each a table of dates on shared hairlines: a booked date is struck through on a muted cell, a held date is outlined with a clock, a free date is plain. Each month carries its season and the uplift that season adds. Press any date and the answer says in words whether it is Free, Held until a day or Booked, how long a hold lasts and what the season adds, while three package cards show their price with that uplift; on a booked date they step aside. Two buttons move the window by a month. The foot, ruled by Guides, holds a status line and an outline Button that asks about the date. It's built from Button, Badge, Avatar and Guides, with a CSS entrance only. For a wedding or event planner, a venue's booking page or any profile that sells dates.

FAQ

How do I fill it with my own diary?

Edit the constants at the top. BOOKED lists the dates that are taken and HELD the dates held for someone, each with the last day of the hold. MONTH_IDS lists the months the calendar can show, seasonOf says which months are peak, shoulder or off-peak and what each adds, and PACKS lists the packages with their base price. The state of each date, the free Saturdays in view, the days left on a hold and every price are worked out from those, so nothing is typed twice. AS_OF is the day the page treats as today.

How do I tell the states apart without colour?

A booked date is struck through on a muted cell, a held date is outlined and carries a clock, and a free date is plain; the picked date is solid. The same words are in each date's name for a screen reader ("Saturday 5 June 2027, held until 14 October") and in the answer. The booked and held dates stay pressable, so the answer can explain them instead of the date just being greyed out.

What does Ask about this date do?

Nothing leaves the page. On a free or held date it says Asked in this demo, nothing was sent, in the status line. On a booked date the button is marked aria-disabled and pressing it says to pick another date. To make it real, send the date and the package to your own API in the submit handler, and show its answer in the same status line.

Are the calendars accessible?

Each month is a native table with a caption and column headings, and every date is a button named with its full date and state, pressed when it is the picked date. Each month is one tab stop and arrow keys move between its dates. The packages are a radio group, disabled on a booked date. The status line is a polite live region present from the start. Dates keep their left-to-right order in a right-to-left layout.

How does it look on a phone?

One month shows instead of two, the answer sits above the three package cards, and the cards stack. Every month is six weeks tall, so moving the window changes nothing below it. The foot stays pinned to the bottom of the screen while the panel scrolls, and settles at the panel's end from the medium breakpoint.

    Consultant Availability Profile

    Schedules and booking

A consultant profile that shows capacity, not slots: eight weeks as cells with a bar of hours booked, an engagement menu that marks every week with room for it, and a request for the week you pick.

  • Pro

    Mentor Availability Profile

    Schedules and booking

A mentor profile that books across time zones: slots set once in UTC, a zone menu, a month grid marking the days with times, times that roll into the next day where they must, and session types with prices.

  • Pro

A date enquiry for a wedding planner that shows the calendar first: a season band, an inline calendar with booked and too-soon days crossed out, guests, a venue style and contact details.

  • Pro

A split call to action beside a week-by-time availability grid on a framed card: pick a free slot and the Shine Button names it.

  • Pro

A designer profile as an availability composer: the visitor's card on top re-renders as you choose a status, the engagements you take and the next opening, with Save and Discard that stay local.

An attorney profile with a consultation request beside her practice areas: four areas as an accordion with matters won, settled and not won, and a request with a practice area menu, a matter field with a counter, a contact choice and a draft summary.
