Overview
Show a channel where a bot announces releases, with this release notes bot chat for React with Base UI. A hairline frame with a plus mark on each corner holds a window of fixed height for Shipwick, a release channel. The bot posts one card per release, with the version and date, the changes grouped as Added, Fixed and Changed in Collapsible folds whose counts are summed from the lists, and a deploy pipeline of Built, Staging and Production. The newest release, 4.2.0, is in staging: "Promote to production" moves it to Production and the bot posts a line saying so, in this demo. A filter above the log (All, Fixes, Features) shows only those groups on every card and re-sums the totals. There is no composer: the foot says where release notes post, and the block has no colored control. The frame is ruled by Guides, and everything moves with CSS only. It's the starting point for a release channel, a deploy feed or any bot that posts structured updates.
FAQ
What stays in the page, and how do I make it real?
Everything. The two releases and their notes are typed in this file, and Promote only moves the pipeline and adds the bot's line; nothing is deployed. To wire it for real, call your deploy service from promote where the code says so, move the step when it reports back and append the bot's post to the same list as it arrives.
What does the filter do?
Fixes shows the Fixed group only; Features shows Added and Changed; All shows everything. It applies to every card, the totals on each card ("9 changes") are summed from the groups that show, and the filter buttons are toggles whose pressed state is read out. Each group keeps its own open or closed state.
How does the pipeline work?
Three steps, each Done, Now or Next, drawn with a mark and a word rather than a color; the current step is marked with aria-current. Promote works when the release is in Staging; once it is in Production the button reads "In production" and stays in place, so focus does not move.
Why is there no composer?
Because nobody talks in this channel: the bot posts and people read. The foot holds the one status line ("Release notes post here") that also announces what Promote did, and there is no primary button, as in a read-only feed.
Is it usable with a keyboard and a screen reader?
The log is a focusable region announced as a log, so the bot's new line is read out once. Folds are buttons with their counts in the label, the pipeline is an ordered list with its current step marked, and every bot post starts with the bot's name and time.
