Overview
Tune what each kind of help is worth, with this community leaderboard for React with Ark UI. A compact header names the product and holds a Reset weights button. The first band has three Number Input fields: points for an accepted answer, for a reply and for a reaction. Under them a native table ranks six contributors by the score those weights give and re-sorts as soon as you type. Each row shows the rank, the name, a word for how far it moved against the default weights ("Up 2", "Down 1" or "Same rank") and the score, and a Formula Collapsible under the name opens the sum ("3 × 5 + 14 × 2 + 40 × 1 = 83"). A polite line says who leads after each change. It is built from Number Input, Collapsible, Button, Avatar and Guides, with a CSS entrance only. For community managers designing a recognition system and wanting to see who it favours before they ship it.
FAQ
How do I use my own contributors and weights?
Edit LINES, one line for each contributor: the name and the counts of accepted answers, replies and reactions. The default weights are STANDARD; the score, the ranking, the rank changes and the formulas are worked out from the counts and the weights. Ties go to more accepted answers, then to the name.
What can I type in the weight fields?
Whole numbers from 0 to 20. A value outside that range or an empty field counts as 0 or 20 in the ranking, and the field keeps what you typed until you leave it. The steppers move by one. Reset weights returns all three to 5, 2 and 1 and says so.
What stays local, and how do I make it real?
Everything; the counts are typed for this demo and nothing is saved. In a real app, store the weights with the community, compute scores on the server so the ranking is the same for everyone, and keep an audit trail of weight changes, since changing them rewrites the leaderboard.
Is it accessible?
The table has a caption, column heads and row headers, and the rank change is in words, not an arrow or a colour. Each weight field has a visible label and a hint, and a polite line speaks who leads after a change. The formula is a disclosure button with an expanded state.
