Overview
Run a renovation room by room, with this home renovation to-do list block for Vue with Ark UI. Three cells on shared hairlines (kitchen, bathroom and living room) each name a contractor, hold a Permit approved Checkbox and list three tasks with an estimate in pounds. Until a room's permit is ticked its tasks show a lock and "Needs the permit first" instead of a checkbox, and once a task in the room is done the permit can't be withdrawn. A Progress bar draws what is spent (the sum of the done tasks) against the room's estimate, and a line above the cells adds the rooms and says how the estimates sit against the budget. Guides rule the bands. Example figures only, not advice. For property apps, contractor tools and project trackers.
FAQ
What does the permit do?
It gates the room's work. With the permit unticked the tasks can't be completed and say why in words; ticking it opens them. The permit then stays while any task in the room is done, and the status line says so if you try to untick it.
How is spent worked out?
It is the sum of the estimates of the done tasks in the room, in whole pence, shown against the room's total estimate. The budget line adds all rooms' estimates and compares them with the fixed budget, in words.
Are these real costs?
No. They are example figures and the contractors are made up; the block says it is not advice. Replace START_ROOMS and START_TASKS with your project.
