Overview

Run a ward round from a list, with this care checklist block for Solid with Ark UI. A Day and Night shift switch sits over six tasks per shift in due-time order. Each row is a Checkbox with the room and the patient's initials ("Room 4, R.A."), the type as an icon and a word (Medication, Vitals, Assessment or Discharge), a priority word of Stat or Routine, and a time worked out against a fixed 09:30: "Due 10:00" or "Overdue 30 min". Ticking Done stamps that time. Both shifts share one grid cell, so switching never moves the page. The patients are invented and the foot says it is a demo, not for clinical use and not medical advice. Guides rule the bands. For care apps, shift handovers and any round of timed checks.

FAQ

How is overdue worked out?

Each task has a due time in minutes since midnight, with night tasks running past 1,440. A task is overdue when it isn't done and is due before the fixed AS_OF_TIME (09:30), and the row says how long ago. Night tasks are all in the future at that time, so they show a due time.

What does Done stamp?

The fixed time, "09:30", because the block never reads the clock. In your app write the real time from tick and clear it when the task is unticked.

Is this for clinical use?

No. The patients are invented initials and rooms, and the block makes no compliance claim. Do not enter real patient information into a demo. A real clinical app needs its own audited storage, access control and review.

What stays local, and how do I save for real?

Ticks live on the page and reset on reload. Nothing is sent or stored. In your app load the round for the shift from your system and write each completion from tick.

How does it look on a phone?

The shift switch and the counts stack, and each task's room and initials sit under its title with the due or done time at the end of the row.
