Overview
Empty an inbox the way Getting Things Done does, with this GTD inbox to-do list block for Solid with Ark UI. The captured items come up one at a time as a card with its source ("Voice note"), the day it was added and the item itself, with two ghost cards drawn behind it as a stack. Four buttons file it for real: Next action, which is the only colored control, a Shine Button, then Someday, Reference and Waiting for, each with the count filed so far in two columns. The next card takes the same place, a short Filed list shows the latest four with a Badge for where each went, and "Undo last" puts the most recent item back at the top of the inbox. File the last item and an Empty state, "Inbox zero", fills the card's space with a Reset the demo button. The frame is ruled by Guides. For inbox processors, capture tools and any product that sorts incoming work.
FAQ
How do I load my own inbox?
Replace ITEMS with your captured items, each with an id, a title, a source and an ISO added date, and list the ids still to process in START_QUEUE. The categories are the TARGETS array; add or rename entries and the buttons, counts and filed list follow.
What stays local, and how do I save for real?
Everything. Filing and undoing change state on the page and nothing is sent anywhere, so the inbox resets when you reload. In your app write each move from fileAs and undo to your own store: a next action becomes a task, Reference goes to your notes, Waiting for to a follow-up list.
How does Undo last work?
Every filing is kept in order. Undo last removes the most recent one from its list and puts the item back at the top of the inbox, so you can undo several times in a row. The button stays focusable when there is nothing to undo and the status line says so.
What happens at inbox zero?
The card is replaced by an empty state of the same height and the four filing buttons stay in place but hidden, so the page doesn't shift. Focus moves to Reset the demo, and after a reset it moves to Next action.
