Overview

Let guests claim a gift or add to a fund, with this registry page for Solid with Ark UI. A header names the page and says what Linden & Loom is. A hairline frame with a plus mark on each corner holds an event band (the event, its date, a typed link with a Copy Button and a bar for the cash fund with a figure such as 62% of $8,500); a list of six items, each with its price, how many are wanted and how many are claimed, drawn as small squares and written out, and a Claim one Button that reads All claimed when the count is met; and a field to add to the fund in whole dollars that refuses an amount that is not whole or is more than the fund still needs. The band's heading counts the claims, 11 of 18 items claimed, and the Shine Button contributes. It's built from Button, Copy Button, Field, Input and Guides, with a CSS entrance only. For a wedding, baby or housewarming registry.

FAQ

Which numbers are typed and which are worked out?

The goal, the starting amount, each item's price, wanted and starting claimed counts are typed. The claim total, the number of items, the fund percentage, the squares and the label on each button are worked out from them.

What happens when I claim an item?

Its claimed count goes up by one, the squares fill, the band's total and the status line update, and once the count equals what is wanted the button reads All claimed and answers with the status line instead of claiming again.

What amounts can I contribute?

A whole number of dollars, up to what the fund still needs. Anything else shows the reason under the field. The bar and the figure move on a contribution, and the Shine Button names the amount.

What stays local, and how do I wire it to a real registry?

Claims and contributions only change the page; nothing is published or charged, and the link is a typed example. To wire it, load items and the fund from your registry, post a claim or a payment from claim and give, and use the response to set the counts.

How does it look on a phone?

The event band stacks the link over the fund bar, each item keeps its name and button in one row with the squares under them, and the foot is pinned with the button full width.

Is it accessible?

The items are a list, each Claim button names its item, the fund bar is decorative with its figures in text, the field's error is linked to it and the status line is one polite live region.
