Overview
See where buyers are searching for things sellers have not listed, with this marketplace supply and demand panel for Solid with Ark UI. The header adds up the month's sales and active sellers from the rows, and a hairline frame with a plus mark on each corner holds a table of seven handmade-goods categories with their listings, the searches made in the month and a liquidity index, which is searches divided by listings. Categories with the widest gap come first; an index above 2 reads Undersupplied, one below 1 reads Oversupplied, told apart by a filled, hollow or half dot rather than by color, and a bar shows the index with a tick at 2. Choosing a category opens, in the band under the table, its three top sellers with a revenue bar, a star rating and the number of items, beside the three searches that returned no result and how often each was made. The figures are typed and nothing is measured. Below the small breakpoint the listing and search counts fold into a line under the category name. It's built from a native table, buttons, star icons and Guides. For marketplace operations and seller-growth teams.
FAQ
How do I load my own categories?
Edit CATEGORIES: each has its live listings, the month's searches, gross sales, active sellers, three sellers and three searches with no result. The index, the verdict, the order of the rows, the bars and the totals in the header are all derived, so only those rows change.
What does the liquidity index mean?
It is searches divided by listings for the same month: how many times buyers searched for each thing that is for sale. Above 2 (the tick on the bar) there is more demand than the listings serve; below 1 there are more listings than searches. The two cut-offs are the constants UNDER and OVER if your market needs different ones.
Why are the no-result searches useful?
They are the demand the catalog failed to serve, which is the clearest brief for the next seller outreach: the wording buyers used, and how many times. Each category lists its top three.
What stays local, and how do I wire it for real?
All of it: the numbers are typed and the selection is component state. To make it real, aggregate listings and search logs by category for the month, join zero-result searches to the query log, and refresh the panel on a schedule rather than per visit.
