App Download Login Block for React
A reverse split sign-in page for a running tracker: a real QR code of a download link with an iOS and Android switch that re-encodes it, a copyable link, and the sign-in form beside it. On a phone the code gives way to a Get the app link.

Overview
Get people into the app before they sign in, with this app download login block for React with Base UI. It's the sign-in of Pacelark, a running tracker: the page's side rails run its full height, and one band crosses the screen between two rules, split by a divider that meets both with a plus mark. The form comes first in the page and the code first on the screen. The cell at the start holds a real QR Code of a typed download link in a tile with a quiet zone, a Segment Group of iOS and Android that re-encodes the code and changes the line under it, and the link itself with a Copy Button. Behind the divider, a Field for the email, a Password Input with its show and hide toggle and a "Forgot password?" link, and the Shine Button sign in; the form is checked when it is sent, each problem under its field with focus on the first, and a good press shows the result in the form's own space. On a phone the code is gone, because you can't scan your own screen, and a "Get the app" link stands in its place. For any app people sign in to on a computer and use on a phone.
FAQ
What does the code point to, and what stays in the page?
It encodes a typed example link on example.com, one for each platform in STORES; point them at your store listings, or at one link that sends each phone to its own store. Nothing else leaves the page: Sign in waits under a spinner for less than a second, then shows "You're signed in" with the address you typed, and a polite status message says nothing was sent; Sign out brings the form back. For real, post the email and password to your auth endpoint where the code says so and show its error under the field it concerns.
Is the QR code real, and will it scan?
Yes. It is the catalog QR Code, drawn from the link as an SVG, in black on white inside a tile with a quiet zone in every theme so any camera reads it; the block follows your theme everywhere else. Switching to Android encodes the Android link and changes the caption, and the code's name for assistive technology changes with it. Keep the link short, since the pattern gets denser with every character.
How does the Copy button work?
It writes the link to the clipboard and a polite status message says "Link copied." or that the clipboard didn't take it, for example on a page that isn't served over HTTPS. The link is shown as text beside it, in a monospace face that stays left to right in every language, so anyone can read it out or type it.
Why is the code hidden on a phone?
Because nobody can scan their own screen, and the cell would only push Sign in down. Below 1024 pixels the cell is dropped and a quiet "Get the Pacelark app" link, which would go to your store page, sits under the form instead. The form comes first in the page in every layout, so keyboard and screen reader users meet it before the code on a wide screen too.
Is it usable with a keyboard and a screen reader?
Yes. Tab runs through the email, the password, its show and hide toggle, Forgot password, Sign in and the quiet links, then the platform switch, where the arrow keys move between iOS and Android, and the Copy button. Enter in either field signs in. Each problem is tied to its field, focus goes to the first, and after signing in it moves to the result's heading while a polite status message says what happened.
