Overview

A features section for React with Base UI, built so a hover reveals more without moving anything. A compact header carries two buttons, a Compare plans button and the one Shine Button, over a single row of four cells in shared hairlines that run rail to rail, for Helpbench, a support-tooling suite: docs, live chat, a community forum and priority support. Every cell is 288 pixels tall and holds an icon, a title, a line and a big metric (an 18 second first answer, a 42 second median reply, 8.2 thousand active members, a 15 minute guarantee). A drawer with three bullets and a link slides up inside the cell on hover, on keyboard focus or when you tap the plus button at its corner, so the row never reflows. It's buttons and the Guides line kit, with your theme's tokens for every colour. For support, help-centre and service pages, and any row of options that each deserve a closer look.

FAQ

What opens a drawer?

Three things: a mouse over the cell, keyboard focus landing on the cell's plus button or on its link, and a press of the plus button, which is how touch and click reach it. The plus button is a real button with aria-expanded and aria-controls, and it turns into a cross while the drawer is open. Escape closes the drawer while the button has focus.

How do I change the cells?

Edit CHANNELS at the top of the file: each cell has an icon, a title, a line, a metric value and label, three bullets and a link. Keep the title to a line or two and the bullets short (about 30 characters), because the drawer is a fixed-size panel at the cell's foot and the cell's height is h-72.

Does anything move when a drawer opens?

Only the drawer. It is positioned inside the cell, which has a fixed height and hides its overflow, so the cell, its neighbours and the page keep their size. The drawer covers the cell's metric while it is open.

Can I use it without a mouse?

Yes. Tab reaches each cell's plus button, which opens its drawer; the next Tab reaches the drawer's link, and Tab again moves on and closes the drawer. A closed drawer is inert, so its link can't take focus or be read until it is open.

What moves, and what happens with reduced motion?

The header fades up once on load and each drawer slides up over 300 milliseconds. With reduced motion both are off: the header simply appears and the drawer is shown or hidden at once.

How does it fit on a phone?

The cells stack one per row, each still 288 pixels tall, and the drawer opens with a tap on the plus button. A touch doesn't count as a hover, so scrolling past a cell never opens it.

    Fanned Card Deck Features

    Carousels and media

  • Pro

A six-cell feature grid for a keyboard-first notes app: one focus ring glides between cells with the arrow keys, and Enter or a tap writes the cell's detail into a strip under the grid.

  • Pro

Six funnel-analytics features on shared hairlines in a framed figure, each with a key figure and a sparkline, where a light follows the pointer and keyboard focus and dims the rest of the grid.
