Glow Headline About Block for React
A claim from the founders of a solar installer's software: one sentence in display type on a soft monochrome glow, signed with their initials and "since Year 1", over a band of three figures divided by hairlines.

Overview
A founders' claim for React with Base UI, written for Dawnfield, a fictional quoting and design tool for solar installers. The claim is the section's heading, centred, in display type with its second half muted, on a soft glow made from your foreground colour (no gradient fill, no hue). Under it, two founders' initials and a byline, "The founders, since Year 1", sign it. Below that, a band ruled from rail to rail holds three figures, each a large number with what it counts under it (installers, minutes from site photo to quote sent, pages per quote), side by side from sm and one per row on a phone. The page's rails and top rule come from the Guides spine, and the block ends on the band, so the next block's top rule is its only closing line. It's built from Guides and Avatar, with a CSS entrance and your theme's tokens for every colour. For product pages, investor updates and any about page that has to say what the company believes before it says what it sells. The figures are example data.
FAQ
How do I change the claim, the byline and the figures?
The claim is the h2 in the component. The byline's initials are FOUNDERS at the top of the file and its words sit in the same row. The figures are FIGURES: each has a value and a label. Keep three, which is what the band's columns are sized for.
Why is the glow grey, and how do I change it?
It's a radial gradient of your foreground colour at 10%, blurred, behind the heading, so it follows the theme and never introduces a hue. To make it stronger or softer, change the percentage in the glow layer's class; to remove it, delete that one element.
How are the figures read by a screen reader?
The band is a description list: each label is a term and its number is the description, in that order, so it reads "Installers quote with us, 412". The numbers are laid out above their labels with CSS only, so the reading order stays label first. Each number is wrapped so it keeps its order in a right-to-left layout.
Why \
A year goes stale the day the page ships. Counting from the company's first year says the same thing and never needs editing. If you prefer a date, put it in a time element with a dateTime attribute.
