Question 1

What does the Chevron Double Up icon mean?

Accepted Answer

The chevron-double-up icon indicates rapid upward navigation and content collapsing with its stacked arrow design suggesting accelerated movement. This double-chevron pattern has become the recognized symbol for jump-to-top actions, collapse-all operations, and fast-backward navigation in modern interfaces with lengthy scrollable content.

Question 2

Where is the Chevron Double Up icon used?

Accepted Answer

In modern applications like Slack's jump to oldest message feature or Discord's scroll to channel top button, you'll see this double chevron enabling quick navigation to content origins and conversation starts. Question 3

What does the Chevron Double Up icon tell users?

Accepted Answer

This visual distinction helps users understand they're triggering substantial content jumps rather than gradual progression.
